About Tian
I am an experienced tutor and have been teaching Indonesian since 2013. Over the years, I’ve helped a wide range of students - from beginners to advanced learners, including interns, consultants, international school students, embassy staff, teachers, and directors. I always tailor lessons to meet each student's goals, whether it’s conversational fluency, grammar, business language, or cultural context.

- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (2016) | GPA: 3.57 / 4.00
- I spent 8 years working in business development at an IT company

My lessons focus on conversation and how the language is actually used in everyday life. I will teach my students the formal language and the informal and slang expressions they’ll hear in real conversations. You can discuss your learning needs with me!
I will help you build confidence in speaking and understanding naturally. For complete beginners, I start from the very basics and guide them step by step. I use a mix of structured materials and more flexible, real-life content. For intermediate students, I often bring in authentic resources like YouTube videos, movie clips, and news articles, so they can get used to how Indonesian is spoken in different contexts.
