About Nassima

I'm Nassima Amir, a freelance illustrator and 2D artist, and I offer comprehensive instruction in drawing, painting and design fundamentals, theory, and technique. I hold a degree in Illustration and Game Art from École Émile Cohl, a renowned European art institution. My professional experience includes contributions to young adult and children's literature, video games and mobile games, tabletop board games, card games and role-playing games, event and film posters, and more, in a variety of graphic styles. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from children to adults, and I am dedicated to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes creativity and builds artistic confidence.

About the lesson

I firmly believe that everyone can learn to draw, and my role is to help you prepare for Art University or College, for their entrance exams or to help you graduate from them with your highest potential. My teaching focuses on learning and re-learning the fundamentals, mastering the essential tools, and studying and nurturing your personal artistic interests, ensuring a motivating path towards achieving your goals. My style is empathetic, attentive, and positive, fostering a relaxed environment where you can confidently develop your skills. For in-person sessions, I find that listening to music and enjoying a hot beverage, such as tea or hot chocolate, enhances the creative atmosphere. My lessons are customised to align with each student's individual style and interests. I welcome students aged 16 and up, whether you are just embarking on your artistic journey or seeking to advance your existing skills. Additionally, my lessons are neurodivergent-friendly. The lessons can last from 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on the age of the student and our availability.
