About Shivvan Avinash
I have a strong background in IGCSE Mathematics, having completed the syllabus two years early at the age of 14. This early achievement gave me a deep understanding of the curriculum and how students can master Math with the right guidance. I focus on helping students understand Math through clear explanations, structured methods, and step-by-step problem solving. Complex topics are broken down into simple, manageable parts, allowing students to build confidence and improve steadily. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and goal-oriented. I place strong emphasis on building solid fundamentals while also preparing students to handle exam-style questions effectively. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and learning needs. I offer both online and in-person lessons, with the aim of helping students develop confidence, consistency, and long-term understanding in Mathematics.

My IGCSE Mathematics lessons are designed to help students from Year 1 to Year 6 build a strong foundation, improve confidence, and achieve better results. Each lesson is fully personalised based on the student’s current level, learning speed, and exam goals.
Lessons focus on:

• Step-by-step problem-solving techniques
• Strengthening basics before moving to harder questions
• Exam-style questions and past-year practice
• Time management and exam strategies
I use simple methods, real examples, and guided practice to make Maths easy to understand and less stressful. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and mistakes are treated as part of the learning process.
Regular feedback is given to parents and students, highlighting progress, weak areas, and improvement plans. Lessons can be conducted online or in person, depending on preference.
My goal is not just to help students score well, but to help them understand Maths with confidence and independence.
