About Melisa

Hi! I'm a qualified hospital pharmacist with an MPharm degree from the University of Nottingham. I currently work in the NHS, supporting patients and clinicians across a range of specialties. My academic and clinical background gives me a strong foundation in both science and maths, which I use to help students of all levels succeed.

I'm passionate about education and have a genuine interest in helping students build confidence, understand difficult topics, and reach their potential. I’ve been through the challenges myself — during my own studies, I struggled at times, but once I found the right revision techniques, things became much clearer. Now, I enjoy passing on those strategies to others.

I tutor in: GCSE Maths and Chemistry, A-Level Chemistry and Pharmacy (including GPhC pre-reg exam preparation).

My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I also provide useful resources, exam tips, and plenty of encouragement along the way. Whether you're preparing for your GCSEs, aiming for top grades at A-level, or getting ready for your registration assessment, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a hospital pharmacist with an MPharm degree from the University of Nottingham, I offer tutoring in Pharmacy (including pre-reg exam preparation), Chemistry, and Maths. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their goals, and I understand first-hand how challenging studying can be — I used to struggle myself. But once I discovered effective revision techniques that worked for me, everything started to click.

My lessons are thorough, structured, and tailored to suit each student’s learning style. I focus on building confidence and breaking down complex concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. I’ll share tried-and-tested methods, exam tips, and helpful resources that have supported me and others through pharmacy training and academic success.

Whether you're preparing for the GPhC assessment, need support with GCSE, A-Level Chemistry or Maths, or want to boost your confidence in clinical topics, I’m here to guide you with patience, clarity, and genuine support.
