About Divin
I am a chemistry graduate from UCD and currently working as a process scientist at one of the world most leading biotechnological company Pfizer. My main subject areas are chemistry, biology and maths. I achieved all A1s in my leaving cert (GSE). I love tutoring people with their struggles. I believe ,and people tell me that I'm a great tutor (I'll let you be the judge of that). I have been professionally tutoring for the past 6 years working with primary, secondary and college students. I also offer thesis review and correction for final year science students. I believe the best way of learning is by understanding the fundamental concept and purpose of the subject matter , rather than simply memorising the information. This in turn, makes it easier for the students to engage and enjoy learning the material. I will work through many examples from the books and exam papers. I have more than one way of explaining concepts to students until they fully understand it. As previously mentioned , I have developed an excellent understanding of chemistry syllabus overall. Most of the time we'll work with exam papers to familiarise and prepare you with the exam layout. I’m very passionate about teaching through my own love for learning. I have been tutoring my friends, family , children, college students and leaving cert and junior cert students for as long as I can remember.
