About Johnna
As a teacher, I am empathetic to issues that affect youth, such as anxiety and learning disabilities. I am a calm and supportive teacher who uses humour and experience to gain my student's confidence and build a working relationship. My students describe me as their favourite teacher because I am "chill" and patient.

I am an experienced, fun high school teacher who can help with reading and writing skills. I am empathetic and have worked with students with complex special needs to academic classes.
I hold an honours B.A. from McMaster University and a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto. I have guidance counselor credentials as well as experience teaching adult learners.
I am also a mom of two wonderful children and have been working in Alberta full time since August 2014.
