About Dylan

I have prior tutoring experience in all the levels and ages I listed prior. It has been an honor of mine to help assist one of my students in achieving the "most improved student in academics" from their Year 6 cohort. Further, both my parents are experienced teachers, which developed my own passion for pedagogy. Additionally, I have more than four years of experience coaching primary children in sport, lessons from which I try to transpose to the classroom. I aim to empower the students in their learning environment and develop a growth mindset that they can apply across their studies and in other aspects of their life.

About the lesson

I am looking to tutor anyone from the late primary school to early university level. The subjects I'm most comfortable tutoring are any from primary, all junior subjects in high school and up to 3U Maths and Physics for HSC students, and early university maths and mechanics courses. I am happy and able to tutor for between 30 minutes and 3 hours. I believe specificity is the most important aspect of developing understanding, so much of the lesson time will be spent applying knowledge to questions and solutions.
