About Lia

Hello! I'm an experienced music teacher and guitarist with a diverse international performance background spanning multiple genres. My musical journey began at a young age when I first picked up the guitar, and my passion for music has only grown since. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing in various countries, which has exposed me to a wide range of musical styles and traditions. This rich experience has profoundly influenced my teaching approach, allowing me to bring a global perspective to my lessons.

I hold a degree in Music Performance, which has provided me with a solid foundation in both the technical and theoretical aspects of music. My professional performance career has taken me to stages around the world, where I've played everything from classical and jazz to rock and blues. This versatility is a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy; I believe that exposure to different genres enhances a musician's versatility and creativity. My goal is to pass on this versatility to my students, helping them to become well-rounded musicians who can appreciate and perform a variety of musical styles.

Teaching music for the past three years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their technique. My approach is highly personalized; I take the time to understand each student's unique goals, interests, and learning styles. By customizing my lessons to meet these individual needs, I ensure that every student can progress at their own pace and stay motivated. About the lesson

In my music lessons, I strive to create an inspiring and supportive environment where students can explore their musical interests and develop their skills. Each session begins with a warm-up exercise tailored to the student's level and goals. This might include scales, finger exercises, or basic chord progressions, depending on their proficiency. Warm-ups not only prepare the student physically but also help to focus their mind and get them into the right mindset for learning.

After the warm-up, we move into the main part of the lesson, which is customized to each student's needs and interests. For beginners, this often involves learning fundamental techniques and simple songs to build a solid foundation. More advanced students might work on refining their technique, expanding their repertoire, or exploring music theory in greater depth.
