Great guitar tutor I had ever seen

While I've always wanted to learn the Guitar & Drums, life presented neither opportunity nor time. Well COVID pandemic did lol. Researched on the internet and found a few people amongst, Tanmay struck a chord. I am 50 and at the helm of large corporations & even if I say so myself, my perception of people & their abilities is accurate.

I am neither flexible that extends to my fingers, they are stout & thick too (broad bones there). Other appreciable things apart, what I most appreciate about his style of teaching is he gives your situations a thought and provides a workaround that works for you.

He is patient but doesn't mean he lets you lag. Learning the Guitar can be frustrating unless you are Elvis or Chuck aka a prodigy. Tanmay has the patience to judge your shortcoming and provide you options steering you in the right direction. He has a certain knack of understanding how frustrating the slow progress can be and provides a needed shot with something the learner can relate to, spurring the interest quotient.

Thanks to my stout fingers I couldn't (still can't) play A that takes 3 fingers to 3 strings in the same fret, he gave me a workaround (that seemed impossible in the beginning) of holding down the D & G with the fore finger and B with middle finger. Well that worked with persistence and it does just fine for me now.

Well if you want to learn from someone knowledgeable, has the knack for teaching, patience to wait it out with you till you get there (within reasonable limits), plans lessons based on your abilities, keep you motivated and cheerful; Tanmay is the go to Guitar guy (:
