My approach enabled students to pass their GCSE in Year 10 with just four lessons per week—a testament to the power of targeted teaching, efficient strategies, and fostering confidence. Teaching has shown me the transformative impact of education, not just academically but in building self-belief. Watching students achieve what they thought was beyond their reach drives my commitment to teaching. Whether a student is struggling to grasp the basics or aiming for top grades, I take pride in tailoring lessons to meet their needs and learning styles, ensuring every individual thrives. About Me With over 15 years of experience teaching GCSE Mathematics in classrooms, I’m passionate about helping students not only succeed but truly understand and enjoy maths. Now moving into online tutoring, I’m bringing my expertise, creativity, and a tailored approach to support students in achieving their best. How I Stand Out I focus on making maths relatable and accessible for every learner. Whether it’s breaking down tricky algebra concepts into real-world examples, using visual tools for geometry, or gamifying practice to build engagement, I ensure every lesson feels approachable and empowering. My students have consistently achieved results above their predicted grades, with many developing a newfound confidence in their abilities. Lesson Format and Content Lessons are interactive, personalised, and technology-enhanced. We’ll use virtual whiteboards, problem-solving apps, and structured lesson plans to target weak areas and build on strengths. Sessions start with a quick check-in on progress, followed by focused teaching, guided practice, and ending with real-time feedback to ensure concepts are understood.
