About Sophie

Highly experienced Oxford graduate looking to tutor children of all ages. My recent tutoring employment includes: beginners, GCSE and A-level French; 11+ English/Maths and verbal/non-verbal reasoning; English GCSE, A-level and IB; university support for Anthropology & Sociology degree. My previous experience includes: Latin and Ancient Greek tuition; role as a private tutor in Paris for an eight-year-old providing lessons in English, Maths, French and music theory; dance and drama group lessons; community youth work; tuition in Oxbridge entrance and university applications. About the lesson

Providing fun, individualised, thorough French tuition. Having taught French from ages 8 through to 18, I am able to tailor lessons to each individual's level, age and temperament! Whether creating engaging and fun games to pique the interest and curiosity of a young child at the start of their language journey, or facilitating a rigorous understanding of grammatical foundations and developing spoken fluency for higher exams, I am always cognisant of the particular needs of each child and work hard to help them achieve their goals.
