About Ardalan

I am a 22-year-old traveler who has embarked on a journey around the world, and I am presently stationed in Australia for a three-month work assignment. I come from Munich, Germany, and my love for interacting with children was nurtured during my apprenticeship in an elementary school back in my hometown. During that time, I found great joy in building strong connections with the students and helping them succeed not only academically but also as individuals. My ability to connect with children and establish rapport has always been a strong suit of mine.

Beyond my affinity for working with children, I am deeply committed to personal growth and self-improvement. I firmly believe in challenging myself and pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve. My exploration into spirituality has provided me with valuable tools for maintaining a stable and healthy mindset in the midst of our increasingly hectic world. I am confident that these skills can be beneficial in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for young minds.

In addition to my passion for working with children and my dedication to personal growth, I maintain an active and diverse set of interests. I am an avid skateboarder, enjoy playing volleyball, love going on hikes, and find solace in reading books and expressing myself through writing. My proficiency in multiple languages, including English, German, Spanish, and Farsi, allows me to connect with a broader range of individuals and cultures.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is built on patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the challenges students face when learning math. Having experienced my own struggles and transformation from a math struggler to achieving straight A's, I can relate to the feeling of being lost in the subject. This empathy allows me to connect with my students on a personal level and adapt my teaching methods to their unique needs.

I believe in tailoring my techniques to each student's learning style. Whether they are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners, I use a variety of resources, including visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive exercises, to make complex math concepts more accessible and engaging. I encourage questions and provide clear explanations, fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their difficulties.

Typically, my lessons are 60 minutes long, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of the topic while also considering the student's attention span. However, I can adjust the lesson duration based on the student's age, needs, and preferences.

My qualifications and experience as a tutor include my previous work at an elementary school, where I helped struggling students overcome math challenges, as well as my personal academic achievements in math. I am also continuously expanding my knowledge through ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.

My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from elementary to advanced, and for kids up to the age of 14.
