About Leila

My name is Leila, and I am a proud and devoted private tutor. My teaching journey began when I traveled to Spain to teach English as a Foreign Language to both adults and young learners. That experience taught me so much, not only about education, but about connection and communication. It was then that I realized teaching truly brings me joy.

Teaching is my passion, and my goal is to help as many students as possible reach their potential. I have experience tutoring ESL, ELA, French/FSL, and Social Studies. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and certifications in TEFL and DELF, I bring effective, evidence-based teaching methods designed for diverse learners.

Throughout my tutoring journey, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what students need to succeed. Every learner is unique, which is why I create customized lesson plans tailored to individual goals and learning styles. I focus on helping students build confidence, learn new strategies, and develop a solid academic foundation. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where learning feels enjoyable and rewarding. Education should be fun, and I’m here to make that happen! About the lesson

Our teaching methodology is student-centered, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable and confident speaking French. Each lesson is customized to match the student’s learning style and goals, helping them progress effectively and build confidence. We support French beginners, intermediate learners, and French Immersion students from Grades 1–10. Tutoring is available in subjects including French, Math, English, and Social Studies (Études Sociales).
