About Cécile

Hello! I'm Cécile, a native French teacher based in France, passionate about education, languages and helping students achieve their goals.

I hold a Master's degree in Education and Training from the University of Bordeaux, as well as a Master's degree in Management and Business Strategy.

I have also completed specialised training in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE), the PROFLE+ professional development programme and the Preply Language Teaching Certificate.

Since 2023, I have taught over 5,100 online French lessons to students from different countries, backgrounds and proficiency levels. My teaching experience has been recognised through 64 student reviews, with an average rating of 4.9/5.

**What I particularly enjoy about teaching is seeing students become more confident, independent and comfortable expressing themselves in French.**

I believe that successful language learning requires a combination of clear explanations, structured lessons, regular practice and a positive learning environment.

I am patient, organised and attentive to each student's needs, but I also believe in the importance of commitment and consistency to achieve meaningful progress.

Whether you are learning French for everyday life, professional opportunities or an official examination, I will be happy to guide you throughout your learning journey.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help you make real progress, develop your confidence and communicate naturally in French.

A personalised and structured approach

Every student has different goals, needs and learning preferences. I adapt my lessons to your current level, whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner (A1–C1).

My teaching method combines:
- Grammar and vocabulary explained clearly, with practical examples.
- Listening and reading comprehension using authentic materials.
- Speaking activities to improve fluency, pronunciation and confidence.
- Written exercises completed between lessons and reviewed together.
- Regular revision to consolidate your knowledge and track your progress.

French for your personal and professional goals

I offer general French lessons, conversation practice, DELF-DALF exam preparation and support for professional situations, including job interviews.

What happens during a lesson?

Lessons generally last 50 minutes and combine several language skills. You will have plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions and practise what you have learned.

With over three years of experience teaching French online, I provide a supportive, organised learning environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.

My goal is not simply to help you speak French during our lessons, but to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to use French independently in everyday life.
