About Brenda

Salut ! I'm Brenda

I'm a passionate French tutor from Cameroon. I love teaching French to everyone - children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.

I have more than 5 years experience helping learners from zero to fluent. What my students appreciate most is my patience. I explain calmly, I repeat as many times as needed, and I always encourage you.

I speak French as my native language and I also speak English fluently, so I can explain in English when you are stuck.

I became a tutor because I love seeing that moment when a student says "Ah! Now I understand!", thanks for helping me achieve my goals, and starts speaking with confidence.

When I'm not teaching, I love reading, listening to music and dancing. My goal is simple: to make French easy, fun, and useful for you.

About the lesson

My methodology is simple: you learn French by speaking French.

I don't do boring theory. Every lesson is 70% speaking, 30% correction and explanation.

For Beginners (A0-A2):
We start with real life: introduce yourself, shopping, travel, daily conversations. You will make your first sentences from lesson 1. I use visuals, simple games, and repetition so you remember naturally.

For Intermediate & Advanced (B1-C2):
We work on fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. We discuss news, work, culture, debates. I correct your mistakes and teach you to sound natural, not like a textbook. Preparation for DELF/DALF, TCF/TEF, job interviews, studies in France/Canada.

For Children (7-17):
Fun, patient, and interactive. Songs, stories, cartoons, and games. I keep them motivated and they learn without stress. I also help with school homework.

For Adults & Seniors (18+):
Slow and clear pace, a lot of encouragement. We go at your rhythm. No pressure, no judgment. We focus on what YOU need: travel, talking with family, work, or just pleasure.

Every student gets a personalized plan after the free first lesson.
