About Shirley

I am an experienced and passionate French tutor who has taught both young students and adult working in fields where French language is a requirement.

Even though I believe in using textbooks, but I strongly believe in adapting the lessons based on the students' interests, needs and what they already know.

I have taught French both in Mauritius and in Canberra. I have enjoyed the experience.

About the lesson

Lessons are provided in an individual approach as learners (06 years old to adult learners) are first assessed to know their level of understanding and competence in French before being provided with the appropriate level of lesson.
At the end of the term (9 weeks) each learner is then assessed to facilitate progression into a different level from beginners to advance.
The program is divided into four categories:
Listening, reading, speaking and writing.
