About Simon

Inspiring Confidence and Establishing Professionalism

I am an experienced French instructor with over 20 years of teaching across international and multicultural settings. I have taught diplomats at the Foreign Service Institute, led Peace Corps volunteers as a cross-cultural trainer, and supported learners from diverse backgrounds in improving their communication skills.

My lessons are designed to be practical, engaging, and student-centered, focusing on real-world conversation, professional communication, and cultural understanding. I am fluent in both English and French, patient, and committed to helping every learner achieve their goals.

In a nutshell, I train learners to be global citizens. With my guidance, students gain confidence speaking French, while developing the skills to communicate effectively in professional, academic, and everyday situations.

My Approach as a French Tutor

I take a practical, student-centered approach that focuses on real-world communication, cultural understanding, and confidence-building.
