I am a finance and accounting professional with over 10 years of experience working in corporate and international NGO environments. I hold a Master of Science in Finance, a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), and I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Throughout my career, I have worked in financial management, budgeting, grant management, compliance, financial reporting, auditing, and donor-funded projects. This practical experience allows me to bring real-world examples into my lessons, helping students understand not only the theory but also how concepts are applied in professional settings.

I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students and professionals who want to build confidence in accounting, finance, and business-related subjects. My goal is to make learning clear, engaging, and relevant, regardless of your starting level.

I work with university and college students, CPA and ACCA candidates, business professionals, and NGO staff seeking to strengthen their technical and practical skills. About the lesson

My teaching approach is practical, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I believe that the best way to understand finance, accounting, and business concepts is to connect theory with real-world applications. During my lessons, I use a combination of explanations, worked examples, case studies, practice questions, and discussions to ensure that students not only understand concepts but can also apply them confidently in examinations and professional settings.

My teaching methodology focuses on identifying a student's current level of understanding, breaking down complex topics into simple and manageable steps, and progressively building competence through guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and actively participate throughout the lesson. Where applicable, I incorporate practical tools such as Excel, financial models, accounting software, and real-life business scenarios to enhance learning.

A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs and the complexity of the topic. Lessons can be delivered online or in person and may be structured around exam preparation, assignment support, professional certification studies, or professional skills development.

I hold a Master of Science in Finance, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I also have over 12 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, grant management, budgeting, compliance, financial analysis, and reporting within both corporate and international NGO environments. Throughout my career, I have mentored colleagues, trained staff, and supported students and professionals seeking to strengthen their finance and accounting skills.
