About Denisa

I have been actively competing in national and international chess tournaments for about 15 years. Four years ago, I began teaching and have since had the pleasure of working with both beginners and intermediate players. Sharing my passion for chess and my experiences with others has always been a goal of mine, and I find great joy in helping students develop their skills and love for the game.

About the lesson

As a FIDE WCM with over 15 years of competitive experience, I prioritize understanding over memorization - we'll go over all the important concepts together and I will guide you along the way to keep the experience enjoyable.
I start by assessing where you are in your chess journey, then create a customized path. I want to keep you engaged through interactive classes, so we will use real-game examples and problem-solving exercises, as well as practice games, to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning space for students of all ages and levels, and I'm always excited to answer your questions and clarify any doubts.
