About Ami

I bring 9 years of experience as an ESL tutor, teaching High School and College students and supporting around 150–200 learners. My teaching philosophy is based on consistency and encouragement. I believe that regular practice and a positive mindset lead to success.

I use simple teaching methods, including conversations, grammar exercises, and real-life examples, to make learning practical. I also customise my lessons to match each student’s needs and pace. One of my proud achievements is helping students who struggled at first become confident and independent learners. I am committed to guiding students with patience and care.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is centred on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I aim to create a learning experience that is both engaging and effective. I use creative techniques such as real-life conversations, storytelling, role-play, and interactive exercises to help students practise English naturally.

I focus on building critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyse ideas, ask questions, and express their thoughts clearly. This helps them gain confidence and improve their ability to communicate.

As a mentor, I guide students with patience and understanding. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style.

Accountability is an important part of my approach. I set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. I encourage students to stay committed and take responsibility for their learning.

In addition to ESL, I also teach related subjects to strengthen academic skills. My aim is to help students become confident, fluent, and independent learners.
