About Devika
Hi, I’m Devika! I’m a passionate and approachable English tutor who believes that learning English should feel enjoyable, encouraging, and never intimidating.
I enjoy helping students become more confident in expressing themselves, whether it is through speaking, writing, reading, or academics. I understand that every student learns differently, so I’m patient, supportive, and adaptable in the way I teach.
Beyond teaching, my professional and academic background has given me strong communication and presentation skills, which I bring into my lessons. I love creating a friendly space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
Seeing my students become more confident and independent is what makes teaching truly rewarding for me!

My classes are designed to make learning English simple, practical, and enjoyable. I focus on Spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and building confidence in everyday communication.
Every lesson is personalized according to the student’s level, learning pace, and individual goals. I use interactive conversations, real-life examples, reading activities, grammar exercises, and speaking practice rather than relying only on textbook-based learning.
For school students, I can also provide support with English literature, creative writing, grammar, comprehension, and academic improvement. For adults, lessons can focus on conversational English, fluency, vocabulary, workplace communication, and speaking confidently in real-life situations.
My aim is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions freely, learn from their mistakes, and gradually become confident, independent English speakers.
