About Shrestha
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students discover their confidence in English. With over two years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students with different abilities, personalities and learning styles, which has taught me how important it is to make lessons feel personalised and supportive.
I have a strong academic interest in English and enjoy helping students understand topics that may initially seem difficult or overwhelming. I am particularly passionate about helping students improve their essay writing, analysis, comprehension and exam technique, while also encouraging them to develop their own ideas and voice.

I can help students develop a wide range of skills, including reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, grammar, vocabulary, essay structure, exam technique and effective revision. Whether a student is preparing for an important examination, struggling with a particular topic, or simply looking to improve their confidence and academic performance, I tailor every lesson to their individual needs and goals.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and personalised. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify their strengths and areas for improvement before adapting my approach. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves without feeling pressured or judged.
I also focus on making lessons engaging and practical rather than simply following a textbook. I use clear explanations, examples, practice questions and constructive feedback to help students understand concepts and apply them independently.
I believe effective tutoring is about more than improving grades. It is about helping students develop confidence, strong communication skills and independent learning habits that they can carry throughout their education.
My goal is to make every student feel more confident in English while helping them make meaningful and measurable progress.
