My name is Amanda and I am a licensed teacher in Canada. I have been teaching since 2004, and over the years I've developed a broad range of teaching experience in English as a second language, mathematics, and science. I've also had the rewarding opportunity to teach English overseas, working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
I enjoy helping students build confidence and reach their learning goals in a supportive and engaging environment. Outside of teaching, I love reading, paddle boarding, and hiking. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your learning journey!
I have over 20 years of teaching experience, with a focus on working with students for whom English is a second language. I have also worked extensively with students with ADHD and learning disabilities. I am able to tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
