About Karen

I try my best to build up my students' confidence in learning English. I am a patient and friendly teacher who loves to teach English and have the desire for my students to progress very well in English. I have a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification that allows me to teach my students very well. And I am an English native speaker from the United States.

About the lesson

You should take lessons with me because I encourage students to speak more. I teach with the PPP method. It means Present, Practice, and Produce. A typical lesson includes learning vocabulary or grammar for example (Present). Using activities like dialogue (Practice). And another activity like picture description. (Produce) I am great in teaching pronunciation because I know the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) used in ESL dictionaries. My lessons are for adults who want to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for tests, work, or other reasons.
