About Nolo

I’m Nolo, a dedicated and compassionate tutor with 2 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to children in China. I’ve worked with learners from diverse backgrounds and understand how to create a supportive, engaging environment that builds confidence and fluency. In addition to ESL, I also tutor mathematics for young learners, helping them strengthen foundational skills and approach problem-solving with confidence. I hold a master’s degree in Business Analytics, which gives me a strong foundation in logic, structure, and data-driven thinking, skills I bring into every lesson to make learning clear and effective. My teaching style is patient, personalized, and always focused on helping students feel seen, supported, and capable. Whether your child needs help with English or math, you can count on me to show up prepared, professional, and ready to make learning a positive and empowering experience.
