About Carline
I’m Carline, an educator with 15 years of experience teaching middle and high school Social Studies. Working with young people has shown me how much communication and confidence matter alongside academic learning.
I bring classroom teaching experience, creativity, and a patient approach to practical social skills lessons for teens. My background also includes filmmaking and nonprofit leadership. I aim to create a welcoming space where students can ask questions, practice everyday situations, and learn from mistakes without feeling judged.

My online lessons help teens practice everyday communication skills in a supportive, respectful setting. Topics include starting conversations, listening, asking questions, expressing needs, setting boundaries, handling disagreements, and working with others.
A typical lesson includes a check-in, a clear explanation of one skill, and guided practice through realistic scenarios and role-play. We finish with reflection and a small practice goal.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s interests, goals, and communication preferences. Students are encouraged to express themselves authentically while learning to understand and respect others. These lessons provide educational coaching, not therapy or clinical treatment.
