About Martin

I have spent my whole career teaching Economics because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of how the world works. I studied Economics and French at university and went on to complete further qualifications in Economics and Business. Over the years, I’ve taught in a few secondary schools and worked with all kinds of learners - from those aiming for A*s to those who just need a bit of extra clarity and encouragement. I still find it deeply rewarding to see students grow in confidence, improve their exam technique, and start to enjoy the subject. Teaching one-to-one allows me to really focus on each student’s needs and support them in a way that works best for them.

About the lesson

I’ve been teaching Economics for over 40 years, and I know the Edexcel A-level syllabus inside out. I’ve taught in a wide range of schools and colleges, working with students of all abilities and helping each one make real progress. A bit about me: Studied Economics and French at the University of London Qualified teacher with a PGCE Also hold postgraduate degrees in Economics and Business ️ What you can expect: Clear explanations that make complex topics easier to grasp Targeted support with exam technique and essay writing Guidance on data analysis, evaluation, and synoptic links (Paper 3) A patient, tailored approach that builds deep understanding and confidence. Whether you're aiming for top grades or need help catching up, I’ll work with you to develop your skills and achieve your goals. I offer both online and in-person lessons and am happy to have an initial conversation about what you need
