About Nurmobeen

My name is Nurmobeen Abrahams from Clanwilliam. I am a qualified and passionate ECD Practitioner with NQF Level 5 in Grade R, Level 4 and Level 1, and over 7 years of hands-on experience. I started as a volunteer ECD assistant and worked my way up to Grade R teacher and aftercare supervisor at Kleinbegin Bewaarskool, L. J's Educare and Lemoenland Educare. I love working with babies, toddlers and young children. I am known as a hardworking, honest, patient and enthusiastic teacher who believes in inclusive, play-based learning. I am computer literate and fully committed to helping every child grow with confidence. I am now offering online lessons to support families across South Africa.

About the lesson

I am a qualified ECD Practitioner NQF Level 5 (Grade R) with 7+ years' experience in early childhood development. I offer warm, patient and fun online lessons for Toddlers, Pre-Grade R, Grade R and Foundation Phase (Grade 1-3). My lessons are play-based and follow CAPS curriculum. We focus on school readiness, early reading and writing, phonics, numeracy, life skills, fine motor development and creativity. I also help with homework and aftercare support. I use simple activities, stories, songs and visual materials to keep children engaged online. Each lesson is personalised to your child's pace and needs. I teach in English and Afrikaans. Online lesson (Zoom / WhatsApp): R100 per hour
At my home in Clanwilliam (Amber Road): R120 per hour
At YOUR home in Clanwilliam: R140 per hour (includes R20 petrol)
