About Tomi
I graduated with a First Class degree in Mathematics and spent the first few years of my career in Finance where I became Chartered Accountant.
Right now, I work full time as a team lead within Data Analytics and have experience training, mentoring and developing a number junior analysts. I've worked over a wide range of aspects within Data including Data visualisation, Data Science, Product Analysis and more recently Analytics Engineering.
I have a genuine passion and interest in Data and Data Analytics. Having transitioned into the field from a career in Finance, I understand how difficult it can be to self-teach and carve out time to learn new concepts. This is why I focus on practical applications so you have a small portfolio of work or projects to take with you wherever you go next!

I offer virtual lessons with a focus on completing projects and tasks to embed any knowledge gained. During our initial conversation I will seek to understand your goals and develop a path to help you reach them.
Lessons are typically 1 hour with the first half introducing and delving into topics and the second half completing a short task/challenge to test the concepts learned.
