About Twinkle

As a passionate Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals with confidence and clarity. I offer personalised, one-to-one tutoring for all levels, from GCSE to A Levels to PhD, with a focus on Psychology, academic writing, exam preparation, and interview preparation. I specialise in developing critical thinking, improving essay structure, and providing strategies for success in assignments, coursework, and exams. My Approach to Tutoring:
I offer a personalised approach to tutoring, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet your specific needs and learning goals. I believe that education should be an empowering and engaging experience, and I am dedicated to helping you thrive.

• Free Consultation: I offer a FREE consultation via telephone or video call to ensure I can provide the best support tailored to your needs.
• Free Trial Lesson: I offer a FREE trial lesson (no obligation to commit) via video call, which helps us build rapport and set the foundation for a successful working relationship.
• Session Length: All lessons will be a minimum of 1 hour.
• DBS Checked: I am fully DBS checked.

Experience and Qualifications:
With over 10 years of experience tutoring Psychology at GCSE and A Levels, and supporting Undergraduate and Postgraduate students with assignments and exam preparation, I have the expertise to help you excel. I have provided tailored application support, interview preparation, and mock interviews for Assistant Psychologist roles. Additionally, I have mentored many applicants through the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology process, including university selection, application feedback, selection tests, and interview preparation. I have also been on the interview panel for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology course.

I offer tailored support to students of all levels, including:
• GCSE, A-Level, and University Students (Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD).
• Assessment Support: I can assist with assignments, coursework, dissertations, and exams, helping you improve your critical analysis, thinking, and structure of essays for the highest grades.
• Writing and Presentation Tips: I provide practical strategies for academic writing, presentation preparation and delivery and offer feedback on assignment drafts. I am willing to read drafts outside of the session to ensure we optimise time within the lesson for more direct teaching.

I create engaging and interactive sessions designed to build your confidence and empower your academic and professional growth.

With my extensive experience working in the NHS, including with neurodiverse individuals across the lifespan, including dyslexia, autism and ADHD, I adapt my approach to best support all needs. Whether you need extra support in breaking down and understanding core concepts or help improving your assignments, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

• A Levels, including Psychology (A), Biology, English Language & Literature (A), General Studies
• BSc in Psychology (2:1) - Relevant modules: Abnormal Psychology, Affective Disorders, Psychosis, Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Statistics, Practicals, Individual Differences and Health, Psychology and the Brain, Brain and Behaviour
- Final Year Project: A qualitative project using discourse analysis exploring how social networking sites can negatively influence young adults’ self-perception and well-being; emphasising the impact on mental illness (e.g. depression, anxiety and eating disorders)
• MSc in Applied Clinical Psychology (2:1) - Relevant Modules: Fundamentals of Clinical and Health Psychology, Fundamentals of Clinical Psychology Practice, Multivariate Statistics for Use in Health Contexts, Advanced Research Design
- Dissertation Project: Exploring people’s experiences of home practice during a mindfulness for psychosis group: A systematic review and a thematic analysis
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology - HCPC registered
