About Sakthi

I'm Sakthi from India and I've learnt music for 11 years:
*ABRSM- Royal School of Music; Vocals and music theory
*RSL- Rockschool London Performance certificate grade 8 with distinction for Western Rock and Pop Vocals
*Professionally trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music as well.
I've also done the HL IBDP music course.

I have also interned as a choir conductor and taught from ages 5 to 17 so I can teach all ages, including adults. I am high soprano but as I've worked with choirs I can help build a strong bass, tenor alto or soprano.
I am looking forward to sharing my passion for singing and I can offer to teach in a variety of genres. I'll help you from building your base vocal technique to helping you make your own songs as a professional singer !

About the lesson

My music classes go like this:
Breathing -> posture -> Intonation ->diction -> sight singing -> tone quality -> vibrato -> attack and release.

This is really important for building a strong foundation. And then I can work on any songs of the student's choosing from their favourite artists and help them master it.
I also offer teach for graded music exams like Trinity and RSL. One plus point in my classes is that I have a lot of resources that can help students and they can also choose from a wide repertoire.

My rates also vary based on the no of classes.
