About Manas
I am a civil engineering graduate with a strong academic background in mathematics, physics, and analytical problem-solving. Through my engineering studies and professional experience, I have developed a structured and logical approach to learning, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. I believe that the key to academic success is not memorization, but truly understanding the concepts behind the problems.
I am committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging topics. My approach to tutoring focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures. As a civil engineering graduate, I have developed a structured and analytical way of approaching problems, and I aim to help students understand *why* concepts work, not just *how* to solve them. I break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps and use practical examples to make difficult ideas easier to grasp.
During lessons, I usually begin by identifying the student’s current level of understanding and the specific areas where they need support. I then explain the core concepts clearly, work through examples together, and give the student guided practice problems to reinforce their understanding. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so that the session becomes interactive and tailored to their learning pace.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review concepts, practice problems, and address any questions the student may have.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have strong academic experience in mathematics, physics, and engineering-related subjects. My lessons are designed primarily for high school students and first-year university students who want to improve their understanding of maths, physics, or introductory engineering concepts.
My goal is to help students gain confidence in problem-solving and develop the analytical thinking skills needed to succeed in their studies.
