I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry. My approach is holistic and interdisciplinary, especially when it comes to electroplating and surface finishing chemistry. I guide students through the principles of electrochemical deposition and help them understand how different material properties influence real industrial applications. We work with concepts like electrode kinetics and bath composition to see how coatings form, behave, and improve performance. I also highlight how coatings can enhance both aesthetics and protection.
I enjoy supporting learners who are passionate about materials engineering, manufacturing, and applied chemistry. Together, we break down complex topics into clear, manageable ideas. I believe in connecting theory with real-world processes so students can see the purpose behind each concept. We explore how surfaces respond to different treatments and how chemistry helps optimize durability. Students gain both scientific insight and practical confidence.
