About Greg

I am an enthusiastic Chemistry tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a MSc in Supramolecular Chemistry. My passion for chemistry comes from understanding how molecules assemble to form useful materials.

I focus particularly on materials science and polymer chemistry. These fields examine how new materials are designed and how their properties can be controlled. They play a vital role in technology and engineering.

In my lessons, I often introduce case studies involving plastics, composites, and nanomaterials. Students explore how these materials are structured and why their properties vary. These discussions help make chemical concepts practical.

I guide students in understanding the relationship between chemical structure and the behavior of materials. This understanding helps them approach chemistry problems with greater clarity.

About the lesson

My teaching approach combines clarity, structure, and thoughtful analysis. I help students understand chemistry by explaining concepts step by step. Each lesson connects core chemical ideas with biological chemistry. We explore macromolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids in detail. Topics like metabolic pathways and enzyme kinetics are explained through simple scientific examples.

Case studies are an important part of my teaching process. Students study how chemical reactions occur within living organisms. We discuss how researchers analyze biological chemistry in laboratories. This approach encourages deep thinking instead of memorization. Many of my lessons connect chemistry with plant and animal biology.

The goal is to help students become confident scientific thinkers. They learn to explore mechanisms and understand molecular relationships. Over time they develop strong analytical skills. This approach reveals how chemistry supports life processes.
