About Andrew
Hello! I'm Andrew, and I'm now in my fifth year of a medical degree at the University of Cambridge. I've just graduated with First Class Honours in both my medical BA and an additional MSci in history, sociology, philosophy and ethics of medicine. I also scored 11A*s (9s) at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level, so am well placed to offer guidance on exam preparation as well as teaching content.
I enjoy most teaching anything related to science, and studied the 3 sciences and maths at A-Level, obtaining A* in all of them. My love of talking with people is what encouraged me to get into medicine in the first place, so hopefully we can get on well and get you the grades you want.

I place a lot of emphasis on explaining the underlying principles behind concepts, as I don't believe the best way to learn is to memorise without understanding! As such, I try to take a topic right back to basics, and create a framework upon which you can hang all your future knowledge. This should give you the tools you need to work out problems independently, and apply your knowledge to new situations and strange exam questions.
