About Shreya

I am a qualified and experienced Biology educator with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology and a B.Ed., along with 7 years of experience in tutoring and teaching students.

Over the years, I have worked with students from different age groups and learning levels, helping them build strong conceptual understanding and confidence in Science and Biology.

I believe a good teacher should be approachable, patient, and attentive to every student's individual needs. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace.

My academic background in Zoology gives me a strong foundation in Biology, while my teacher training and classroom experience help me present concepts in a clear and student-friendly way.

Whether a student needs help understanding difficult concepts, preparing for examinations, completing schoolwork, revising important topics, or building stronger fundamentals, I aim to provide structured and personalized support.

I am committed to making Biology easier to understand, engaging to learn, and less intimidating for students.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Biology is simple: I believe students understand and remember concepts better when they understand the logic behind them rather than simply memorizing information.

I use clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, questioning, and practice questions to make complex Biology topics easier to understand. I also adapt my teaching style according to the student's age, level of understanding, learning pace, and academic goals.

A typical class begins with a quick review of the previous topic, followed by an explanation of the new concept using diagrams and examples. I then check the student's understanding through questions and short activities, followed by practice questions or a worksheet when appropriate. I also leave time for doubts and clarification.

My special focus is on making students comfortable asking questions. I encourage them to think, explain concepts in their own words, and gradually become independent learners.

I teach school students from middle school to senior secondary level and can help with Biology concepts, exam preparation, homework, revision, and doubt-solving. I can also support students studying topics such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, and Physiology.

With my background in Zoology, B.Ed., and several years of teaching and tutoring experience, I aim to make every Biology lesson clear, structured, interactive, and enjoyable.
