About Luke

I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, studying Neuropharmacology, and have recently graduated with distinction from the University of Oxford with a masters degree in Pharmacology. Throughout my time at university I have developed an eagerness to share my knowledge and help others in their learning process.

My passion for studying has enabled me to understand the struggles that students may face while learning new concepts and how to best combat them, while adhering to the current learning methods adopted by UK schools and universities.

Aside from studying, I enjoy reading, cycling and travelling.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach incorporates a variety of resources, drawing insight from my experiences at various universities across the country, to create a tailored tutoring experience for every individual. This will be dependent on age, level of study and subject. For instance, for GCSE and A-level students, I would go through past paper questions and quiz the students at the end of each session to assess their progress and development in the build up to examinations.

Most Importantly, I endeavour to keep the sessions as enjoyable as possible while ensuring they gain confidence in their knowledge of that subject area.

I can also provide advice on C.V. styling as well as writing cover letters / university personal statements.
