About Gracy
I'm currently in my third year at UC Berkeley, majoring in Applied Mathematics, and I've been deeply involved in tutoring for over four years now. During my high school years, I was part of an Academic Decathlon team that clinched a national championship, where I achieved a commendable 4th position in the country for my division, particularly excelling in the mathematics component.
My passion for mathematics has only intensified in college, where I'm delving into upper-division courses with aspirations of pursuing a PhD down the line. I'm genuinely enthusiastic about math and am committed to helping you enhance your confidence in your own mathematical abilities, regardless of your starting point!

As a tutor, my aim extends beyond merely demonstrating problem-solving techniques; I strive to cultivate a deep comprehension of the fundamental mathematical principles underlying each problem. I collaborate with students to enhance their ability to tackle unfamiliar concepts confidently, both in homework assignments and exams.
To achieve this, our approach begins with nurturing intuitive insights into mathematical concepts, serving as a foundation for further exploration. For instance, in the case of integrals, we prioritize grasping the geometric significance inherent in each integral, rather than relying solely on rote memorization of solution methods.
My tutoring services are available both in-person for those in the Berkeley area and online. I welcome students of all ages and proficiency levels, whether you're a middle schooler venturing into algebra, a high school student grappling with trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus, or an adult learner striving to refine your mathematical prowess.
