Welcome! I’m Cornelius – Your Trusted Tutor for Bahasa Melayu & Science (DLP) With over 22 years of experience as a dedicated educator, I am passionate about helping primary school students build strong foundations in Bahasa Melayu and Science (including DLP). My teaching style is student-focused, friendly, and highly effective—developed through years of classroom experience in both national and private school settings. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned to suit the individual learning pace and needs of the student. I combine proven teaching techniques with engaging activities, visuals, and exam strategies to make learning not only effective but also enjoyable. My goal is to help every student gain confidence, improve academically, and develop a genuine interest in learning. Whether your child needs support, enrichment, or exam preparation, I am here to guide them every step of the way. I hold strong values in professionalism, punctuality, and patience—and always strive to create a learning environment that is safe, motivating, and respectful. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on personalized, student-centered learning that builds confidence, understanding, and exam readiness. I use a mix of visuals, interactive questioning, real-life examples, and step-by-step explanations to help students grasp concepts clearly—especially in Bahasa Melayu and Science (DLP). Teaching Methodology: I begin each class with a quick recap or diagnostic to check understanding I use guided discovery, hands-on activities, and practice questions tailored to each topic I emphasize exam techniques, vocabulary-building (especially for BM), and higher-order thinking I create a fun, supportive environment so students feel confident to ask and learn Lesson Duration: Each class runs between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and focus level. I also provide extra worksheets and feedback if needed. My Qualifications & Experience: Over 22 years of teaching experience in primary education Have taught in both national and international school settings Specialized in Bahasa Melayu, Science & DLP (Dual Language Program) Coordinator of literacy and reading programs Motivational speaker and mentor to students Who Are My Lessons For? Primary school students (Years 1 to 6) Pupils who need extra support, want to improve grades, or are preparing for school exams Suitable for students from KSSR or DLP streams
