About Mandy
Experienced Artist, Illustrator and designer who has worked for a range of very high profile clients as well as being an educator with 28 plus years of experience of all levels of education from Primary through to Further Education. I have designed and taught on courses from L2 to Level 5 and have current knowledge of Ofqual requirements as well as a REAL working knowledge of the creative industries from the world of Fine Art to Commercial Graphic Design & Illustration.
My personal creative practice is working with traditional methods for illustration, fine art painting, printmaking and design, and then using digital technology to prepare it for the era we now live and work in.

I work with each individual to achieve skills or outcomes they identify after some discussion. This is approached by assessing current skill levels, identifying areas that may need improvement then teaching practical methods to build those skills and identifying and overcoming any obstacles to that learning.
Being creative is a process of tapping into a wellspring of ideas and expression. By honing your practical skills with clear and focussed tutoring, it will give you the confidence to express yourself better and will help to feed your creativity.
I have a wealth of knowledge of the core principles of art & design education to help you to achieve this and by offering one-to-one mentoring support, can guide you on the path to the amazing potential you are capable of.
Please note to avoid being out of pocket for upfront expenses, the first class is not free, this is something the site puts on automatically, however if repeat lessons are booked, one class will be offered free of charge.
