About Andrea
I started giving lessons 3 years ago. The lessons are mainly focused on Italian art, the late 19th, 20th and 21th centuries and further readings about specific students needs. I have always provided tailored and personalized lessons.
I am totally focused on my passions and skills. As a passionate independent art historian, consultant and teacher, my goal is to help students understand the world of modern and contemporary art.

From an overall perspective my teaching method is constituted by visual document analysis and descriptive research studies in one-to-one teaching via zoom, skype or other video chat. The practical advantage of this teaching setting is keeping the lesson interesting and varied. In terms of teaching practice, I give students the opportunity to approach lessons that are specifically suited to their individual preferences and needs; once understood the specific needs through interviews, the students will receive individually tailored private lessons in the teaching of specific topics such as Art history, Historical studies, film studies and more. I strongly encourage them to take an active role in their learning process. A very interesting support of my lesson is also represented by the use of arts and culture photographs, videos and media resources. It is fun and easy to learn. I will lead the students in thinking about what they already know and what they are going to focus on. We discuss about the appropriate strategy and how it may facilitate and elevate understanding of the contents and critical and theories thinking.

the lesson lasts 1 hour and 5 minutes. If you book a 10 hours lesson pack, there's an extra time of 1 hour in which I suggest bibliography (e.g. Italian Art or what you need in arts and humantieis fields) and recommend readings.
