About Claire

Bonjour, I am a French teacher based in Dublin. I grew up in Nancy in the north-east of France and I studied Performing Arts and film studies in France, Spain, and Ireland. I am passionate about traveling, discovering new cultures, and art. I completed last year a diploma to teach French to foreigners (DAEFLE- Alliance Française de Paris). I am also an examiner and corrector for the DELF-DALF exam. I started teaching French part-time 6 years ago when I moved to Dublin. I used to help Irish teenagers to prepare their French exams (Leaving Cert - Junior Cert) and students at the University (preparing oral exams, proofreading essays). I have been teaching French online since April 2020 and in person to adults, teenagers, and kids in some language schools since February 2021.

About the lesson

I teach French to all levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced) and all ages (children, teenagers, adults). I can help you to improve your French skills (grammar, vocabulary, French culture, oral fluency), to prepare your essays, oral presentations, job interviews, DELF-DALF exams, Junior Cert, Leaving Cert… I am flexible to your needs, level, and way of learning. I use videos and articles based on your interests and encourage practicing conversation. I also often relate the lessons to French culture such as film, music, news, literature... I can provide grammar lessons and exercises.
