About Tilly

Everyone deserves a chance to do the best they can. As helpful as school is, it's clear that one-to-one tuition helps students much more, and allows for fun, creativity, and learning. That's what I try to do best.

All lesson will be tailored to what you need. I will ensure that we have regular chats about progress without the pressure of grades and marks, we will have sessions dedicated to feedback and improvement, and, most importantly, will we link everything you do to things that you find fun and entertaining.

I am a facilitator for your learning. All sessions are about you, what you need to do to improve, and what you need from me to help you get there.

About the lesson

Lessons are entirely tailored to students' needs and level. All lessons will be engaging, with a mix of creative and traditional teaching methods to allow for the best results.

Having taught and tutored for over 5 years, I have experience of all types of learners. Working as a teacher throughout the pandemic has emphasised the importance of education for young people, and I wish to help those that need an extra boost to progress and succeed.

I have taught in mainstream comprehensive and grammar schools, and have been a private tutor in person and remotely for several years. I know what works, and will ensure a detailed report and understanding for not only students, but parents/carers as well.

I teach from Early Years to A Level, focusing on Maths, English Literature and Language, Humanities, and any 11+ preparation.
