About Rachel

Hello! I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics degree and experience teaching in the public school system. I am passionate about helping students understand Mathematics and develop confidence in their learning abilities.

As a tutor, I believe that every student can learn and succeed with patience, encouragement, and the right teaching approach. I explain lessons clearly, provide step-by-step guidance, and adapt my teaching methods to each student's needs and learning pace.

My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills, and learning from their mistakes. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, completing assignments, or preparing for exams, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making Mathematics easy to understand, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student. As a licensed professional teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics and experience in the public school system, I believe that every learner can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement.

My Teaching Method and Techniques

I use a student-centered approach that considers each learner’s needs, abilities, and learning pace. I explain concepts step by step, use practical examples, provide guided exercises, and encourage students to ask questions. I also use visual aids, interactive activities, and real-life situations to make Mathematics easier to understand.

A Typical Lesson Plan

1. Review: Start with a short review of the previous lesson and check the student’s understanding.
2. Introduction: Introduce the new topic and explain its importance.
3. Discussion: Explain the concepts step by step using clear examples.
4. Guided Practice: Solve problems together and provide guidance when needed.
5. Independent Practice: Allow the student to answer exercises independently.
6. Assessment and Feedback: Check the student’s understanding, correct mistakes, and provide helpful feedback.
7. Wrap-Up: Summarize the key points and suggest practice activities if needed.

Who My Lessons Are For?

I offer Mathematics tutoring for elementary and junior high school students, as well as learners who need additional support with basic mathematical skills, homework, assignments, quizzes, and exam preparation. I can help with topics such as arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry, and other Mathematics topics based on the student's grade level and learning needs.

My goal is to help every student develop a stronger understanding of Mathematics, improve academic performance, and gain the confidence to solve problems independently.
