About Robyn
Hello, My name is Robyn, and I have been a primary school teacher for 9 years and have predominantly taught in Key Stage 1. I therefore have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in teaching the important foundation skills of Literacy and Numeracy. I am proficient in teaching phonics and spelling, communication and language, mathematics and science.

My passion lies in nurturing a love for reading. I am dedicated to helping children develop strong reading skills. Due to my passion, I won a trust award for my impact in leading phonics. I have years of experience supporting children throughout the KS1 Phonics Screening Check.
I have an understanding of how different children learn and have a clear knowledge of how to plug gaps in knowledge in order for children to progress further. I believe in adapting my teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles, making education accessible and impactful for everyone. I teach in creative and engaging ways that allow children to learn without cognitive overload.
I can tutor children in Early Years and KS1 as well as support older children who are working at this level.
