About Patrick

My name is Patrick Kenny, I am 21 years old and currently in my 4th year of Medical School in Aberdeen. I offer GCSE, A level, Scottish Higher, and Advanced Higher lessons in Chemistry. As a student who struggled to sit still for much of my studies, I empathise with students who may be struggling with school and hope to share strategies and skills I have picked up on my own journey to becoming a high achieving student! I attended St Olaves Grammar School in South East London where I achieved 3 A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. During this time I was prefect of biology I was in charge of leading “booster” sessions, teaching A level content to students my age and younger. I also have experience privately tutoring various other subjects including Chemistry, Maths and English (as additional language) and would be happy to give assistance or mentorship to any aspiring medical students!

About the lesson

Having tutored various students since 2021 I have learnt to adapt my lesson styles to each pupil and constantly improve this as I better get to know the pupil's personality, and what works for them! I aim to build confidence and skills in my pupils by providing real-time feedback and support for their learning! As well as sharing advice and tips to progress their learning outside of our lessons. I offer a free introductory session for you to ask any questions you may have and set a foundation for any future lessons. Also happy to do some teaching during this time :) Happy to set homework or not.
