About Banu
Hello, my name is Banu Haughton and I am an experienced English teacher with over 25 years of teaching and mentoring learners of all ages. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the UK, a Bachelor’s Degree in English Teaching from Turkey, and a TESOL Certificate from Trinity College London. I understand the challenges of learning a new language — I have experienced them myself while learning German up to B2 level — and I use this experience to support my students with patience, empathy, and effective strategies.
