Hello! I’m Helena, and I’m excited to be your guide in mastering accounting and finance in a way that makes sense for you. I have a Master’s degree in Finance from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Winthrop University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and with the Honors Program distinction. But beyond the degrees and professional experience, I genuinely enjoy helping others build confidence in their skills. With hands-on experience in multi-entity reporting, financial analysis, and ERP systems like SAP, I bring a practical, real-world approach to our lessons. I believe in making even the toughest topics feel approachable, so you can not only succeed but also feel empowered in your financial knowledge. When I’m not helping students, you’ll find me in Northern Colorado, where I love to hike, explore, and adventure with my husband, our 4-month-old daughter, and our three German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs). We enjoy off-roading in our 4Runner TRD Pro and spending time off-grid camping. I know firsthand how important it is to find balance in life, and I bring that same energy and patience to my teaching style—lessons should be fun and rewarding, not stressful!
