About Brendan
I’ve taught 2nd and 3rd grade and worked as a long-term substitute, so I know how to connect with kids and keep them engaged. I’m now a neuroscience student at UTD, studying how people learn and think, which actually helps me teach in a way that makes sense for each student. I’m patient, real, and focused on helping kids feel capable and proud of what they can do.

I like to make learning feel easier and less stressful for kids. I focus on helping them actually understand what they’re doing instead of just memorizing, especially when they get frustrated with math or reading. I try to meet them where they are, explain things in a way that clicks, and help them build confidence little by little.
