About Talia
With over 7 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I offer comprehensive violin lessons. I integrate music theory, aural skills, and sight reading into every lesson. My focus includes preparing students for music theory exams and improving advanced harmony knowledge. Scales, intervals, and harmonic understanding are taught through practical bowing and fingering exercises. I work with exam candidates as well as students wishing to improve overall musical fluency. Each lesson combines technical skill development with theoretical insight. Sight reading and ear training are emphasized throughout. Phrasing, articulation, and expression are key elements in my teaching. Lessons are customized to suit individual goals and levels. I focus on connecting practical violin technique with music theory. My goal is to help students build confidence and musical independence. Students gain technical, analytical, and expressive skills. Together, we create well-rounded violinists with strong theoretical grounding.

I help students develop a precise ear for pitch and intonation. Drone practice is used to strengthen tuning and finger placement. Playing in tune across positions is a key part of every lesson. Lessons are tailored for aspiring pop stars and classical vocalists. I combine bowing, fingering, and phrasing with pitch-focused exercises. Students learn to listen carefully and correct their own intonation. Scales, arpeggios, and melodic exercises support accurate pitch. Lessons also emphasize tone quality and musical expression. I focus on building confidence while maintaining accuracy. Exercises are interactive, engaging, and structured to suit individual needs. My goal is to help students play clean, expressive, and perfectly in-tune music. Lessons connect technical skill with musical sensitivity. Together, we make the violin resonate beautifully.
